Abstract

This research paper aims at the need of incorporation of green chemistry practices at higher secondary stage of schools. As the world is reaching to the new heights of development, the environmental degradation is occurring on a large scale. This calls for a modern alternative solution in science that can protect the environment. Green chemistry is a modern part of chemistry that is helping in achieving a sustainable environment. In order to solve the arising problems of environment it is necessary to prepare the young generation for facing and solving these problems. This can only be done by educating them about the green chemistry principles, practices and its applications. Green chemistry could support in achieving a sustainable atmosphere for the future generation.
